A family afternoon out on the water in Berny
The Berny-sur-Noye lake, one of Grand Amiénois’ unmissable green spaces, is found around 20km south of Amiens. This natural and relaxing location, spanning three hectares, is perfect for a family afternoon out.
Aside from picnic tables, you’ll also find a refreshments area with fast food outlets, different activities such as mini golf, and a peddle boat area as well as a games area with slides and roundabouts.
This lake is also used as a starting point for hiking trails, mountain bike tracks, and tracks of the Val de Noye trail running station. There are eleven marked trails and four workshops as well as complete information available on your smartphone, and practical services such as locker rooms and medical services.
Alméo Aquatic Centre
You can also enjoy time as a family at the Alméo aquatic centre in Moreuil, with four pools, one sauna, one jacuzzi, one steam room, one balneotherapy pool, and one cardio room. There’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy: sports, relaxation, games, activities, swimming, rejuvenation...

Fancy some fishing?
Freshwater fishing lovers will find happiness in the Avre and Noyes rivers as well as the lakes and ponds of Moreuil, La Faloise and Ailly-Sur-Noye, prized fishing sites for whitefish, carp, carnivores and salmonids.
The Guyencourt-sur-Noye fishing park (private property) is a natural site with four pools at the heart of a world of green, and it’s open from March to October - no need for a fishing permit! Plain trout, rainbow trout and brook trout can be caught here. You can also find a fast food spot and a fishing paraphernalia shop, and trout can be purchased wholesale.
Fancy discovering some local artisans and produce?
You’ll find the Noye Brewery in the village of Quiry le Sec. This is a local brewery ran by Antoine. It brews 600 litres of beer a week on average. All beers brewed at this brewery are ‘organic farming’ certified, and all the hops used come from the Noye Hopgardens, 3 kilometres away from the brewery. What’s more, the brewery is powered using electricity from Enercoop, a cooperative producing renewably-sourced electricity. You can visit the brewery every Friday from 2 pm to 10:45 pm, and on Saturday it’s open from 9 am to 12:30 pm. You can taste and buy their draught beers, and chat to Antoine about their products and how they’re made.
