Théâtre : NEXT / Autopsy d’un massacre amoureux
Show No.
About
l'amour fait mal?, La fin de l'amour), NEXT / Autopsy d'un massacre amoureux takes as its starting point a theatrical autopsy of Anne-Laure Thumerel's love life, endemically marked by break-ups. Caught in the impasse of "non-love", she sees herself as a "textbook case" of emotional capitalism. This show, the culmination of her long-term residency at La Maison du Théâtre, will bring together elements created during the processual ?uvres, and bring to a close the infinite question of : WHY? Perhaps it will be possible to return to the drag market? Perhaps we'll have to be content with just asking for explanations? And in the end, the way out of the old patterns may not be the one expected or claimed. Beyond the autopsy, the show paints a portrait of a generation grappling with capital, whether in love or not, sometimes drowning in injunctions to love and then "nexter", but a generation that is lucid, inventive, combative, thoughtful and joyful.
