Théâtre : FAME TV
Show No.
About
A show inspired by the variety shows of the 70s. No Guy Lux or Jacques Martin here, but the circus collective TBTF.
A TV show director, a presenter, a five-piece band and a bunch of dancers are live on stage! And just like on a TV set, a chauffeur takes care of the audience: depending on the sign, they either applaud or laugh out loud.
But Fame TV is much more than just a big laugh: it's an invitation to take a step back from the practices and discourses of the past. "The show will play by the rules of glamour, but little by little, interruptions will reveal the other side of the coin: ridicule, sexism, abuse of power, audience manipulation... The intention is not to make a parody of this era and the world of television, but rather to learn from its codes, question them and create parallels with the present."
The colorful TBTF artists sing, dance, juggle, do fitness exercises and acrobatics, drawing the audience into a skilfully orchestrated delirium. All punctuated by advertising interludes from the era. A colorful show, full of energy, vitality and humor! Generous and jubilant, a pure delight!
LE COLLECTIF TBTF (TOO BUSY TO FUNK)
A multi-disciplinary collective of some twenty young circus artists, jugglers, acrobats, trapeze artists, clowns? all graduates of various schools, including Le ZartiCirque in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland, and the Centre National des arts du cirque in Chalons-en-Champagne, France?
