Théâtre : 4 questions à Yoshi Oïda
Show No.
About
Maxime Kurvers
Yoshi Oïda, born in 1933, has worked with some of the world?s greatest directors, including Peter Brook and Martin Scorsese. He is as famous for his treatises on the art of acting as for his performances. Amiens also know him for his show Le Tambour de Soie, with Kaori Ito, produced by the MCA. Maxime Kurvers, on the other hand, is a young director who bases part of his work on interviews with performers. The interview-performance presented here takes us on a journey through what theater can be, across continents and eras, and pays tribute to Yoshi?s singular way of thinking of his art as a journey through the world, learning to live in it and thus to die in it.
