Moulin Fanchon
The mill of Candas more commonly called "Fanchon" owes its name to the last miller. It is one of the last brick and sandstone towers that had a roof of a rare type. It has just been restored to its 18th century appearance.
This windmill, recently restored, is the survivor of three windmills in Candas (census of 1809), it milled wheat until 1914 then various cereals until 1922.
