About
Under the guidance of Lucile Tessier and Claire McIntyre, students from the CRR Amiens and CRR Beauvais will deepen their knowledge of the Baroque repertoire and be introduced to the art of diminution. The keyboardists will have the chance to work on an Italian harpsichord generously loaned for the year 2023-2024 by the association Clavecin-en-France.
Lucile Tessier
A multi-instrumentalist with a passion for the diverse colors of early music, Lucile Tessier trained at the Schola Cantorum in Basel and at the CNSMDs in Paris and Lyon.
She studied recorder, then bassoon (baroque, classical, renaissance) and finally baroque and renaissance oboe. She has performed on recorder, bassoon and oboe with numerous ensembles. She founded the Ensemble Léviathan, whose projects aim to bring to life the music she studies.
Claire McIntyre
Claire McIntyre studied at the University of Birmingham (UK), where she graduated with a degree in music (modern trombone), and at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Switzerland), where she obtained her Master's degree. These studies, enriched by research and practice as a performing musician, enabled her to acquire an overview of the history of the trombone and its repertoire. She teaches sackbut and trombone at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Versailles.
Public master classes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
