A musician and composer as unclassifiable as he was beloved, Erik Satie passed away a hundred years ago. A witness to a rich era that included Debussy, Ravel, the Dadaists and Cocteau, he was considered an original, while his Gymnopédies, Gnossiennes and chansons are now timeless classics.
Johane Myran, musical director of the Red Star Orchestra, who we've already heard behind the voices of Olivia Ruiz and Thomas de Pourquery, has arranged some of his best-known works to reflect his character and his musicthey have teamed up with designer Grégory Thomas to bring us a unique musical and visual experience: a big band and soloists at the crossroads of brass band and jazz, as well as a screen showing an animated film in which we follow Satie on one of his peregrinations from Montmartre to Arcueil.
Ideal for even the youngest visitors to discover one of the greatest musicians of the twentieth century!
