Danse : En Fanfaaare !
Show No.
About
Faced with an age crying out for urgent action, shouldn't we summon the boisterous energy of a brass band to wake up a sleeping world?
Taking these questions as her starting point, associate artist Tatiana Julien offers Amiens the premiere of her new creation.
En fanfaaare?! engages spectators in a completely immersive tri-frontal set-up, using Mozart?s well-known aria from the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute to question our interdependent relationships and give voice to a single voice with eight mouths. The dance that emerges is percussive, quivering like a collective action, and the impact of each gesture and sound promises exceptional shared vibrations!
