Compagnie XY

Anyone who has ever seen the XY collective is bound to have stood up and applauded them at the end of the show, dazzled by their vertiginous pyramids and skin-deep sensitivity. With Le Pas du Monde, the 22 artists take to the stage to explore their relationship with time and the perpetual metamorphosis of a world in motion. The fleetingness of a hatching or a first flight, the inevitability of collapse, of mountains or vertebrae, the long time of rivers or the imperceptible shiver of a suspended moment: how can acrobatics make living things and their impermanence sensitive, depict humans and nature, and their ability to live together?
With this new creation, the answer lies in strong, funny and poetic images, where reverie and wonder take hold.
