This castle is primarily a fortress, whose construction meets military criteria. Les Médiévales, a festival organised on the site of the castle every year, offers various attractions related to the Middle Ages.
Remains of a medieval castle and church listed as a World Heritage Site on the Roads of Compostela. The church contains the remarkable tombs of the Lords of Folleville in carrara marble, testifying to the arrival of the Italian Renaissance in Picardy. At the foot of the castle, a village reconstructs the decor and traces of this past.
