This gentle route serving both pedestrians and cyclists invites locals and visitors of the départment to discover all the touristic, natural, and cultural wealth to be found along the banks of the Somme Valley on their way through Amiens.

>> For your information:
• There are no special facilities for people with disabilities. Even if the ground of the Somme cycle path has been levelled out, it’s not always a smooth ride for people in wheelchairs, especially on rainy days.
• There’s no signage for blind people or those with reduced visibility, and so should be accompanied.
The Canardière route
The canardière (or punt gun) route is a 13.5 km hiking trail between Amiens and Longueau. The marais des Bœufs (or cow’s marsh) is also a great spot for a picnic, to play some games, and for enthusiasts to go fishing.

The Glisy communal marshland

Over this 2.9 km route, walkers can enjoy this natural location by reading the on-site information boards.

• The even path, composed of compacted gravel and sometimes duckboard, allows people with reduced mobility to easily get around.
• There are walkways allowing you to cross any ditches.
• People with mental handicaps must be accompanied.

At the heart of the Avre valley not far from Amiens, this short route is perfect for a family outing: there are ponds, little bridges, snails, frogs, dragonflies, butterflies...
